It's been standing for many years now.
Dwarfed by the modern buildings surrounding it, this old cottage looks like it's seen better days. The paint is faded and peeled on the outside. The roof is well-weathered, and the windows are cracked. It might be time to demolish; after all, who would want to live here?
But wait... there's a light.
The inside glows with a soft, warm, glorious light!
That light shines out through every crack, and when the curtains are open, it shines brightly through every window.
"For God, who said, 'Let there be light in the darkness,'
has made this light shine in our hearts
so we could know the glory of God
that is seen in the face of Jesus Christ.
We now have this light shining in our hearts,
but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars
containing this great treasure.
This makes it clear that our great power
is from God, not from ourselves."
-2Corinthians4:6,7
The glory within is a wonderful and incomprehensible miracle!
